Mayank and Nupue - two completely opposite individuals......he studious, smart, intelligent and reserved and she outgoing, crazy, fun loving and vivacious.
They met and sparks flew in the very first meeting ( remember the loo scene and later in class wen he held her)........situation got them together to work for a project and after initial battles, friendship bloomed.
Mayank, started getting affected by the craziness of Nupur, her enthusiam getting to him, making him do all that he never thought of.......participating in talent parade, taking her to beach........ Nevertheless, he was attracted towards her, but never realised ( and there are lots to prove that....their dance practice, the way he complimented her on diwali nte, and even went to party for her).
But tables turned, wen he realised that she was not be trusted..........his trust was broken, and as his mum said..he was more hurt than angry coz he felt for her.
And this was what brought out the best in Nupur, she cudnt take insult from Mayank....she 2 felt for him ( she cared for him) and so she showed him that she is not stupid as he thinks. somehwre she wanted to prove that she can match up to him.
And then came the acdemic meet.........two individuals with unrealised attraction between them left alone........and during this time Mayank was the first to realise his feelings.. y? simply coz he has alwz been in control of his life and sudden changes confused him. but he continued to live in denial.
He didnt want to feel that way, but at the same time cudnt stay away from her either ( he apologised to her after that drug incident), Nupur on the other hand had never given much thought to life and took each day as it came.........and thus Mayank's behaviour confused her.
She only realised a bit wen she found him so caring and sweet......a sweet feeling in her heart.......but then again Mayank's planned moves left her confused........her heart said he loves her, but mind (and Uday) said he can never love a person like her.......this conflict and Mayank ever changing attitude was not helping.
But then love finds its way..........and it did..........and they has the most beautiful confession ever.......
So, i dnt think that their story was ill-treated.........watever happend in their lives.all those scenes has a meaning..
According to me, its one of the most beautifully depicted love story on TV.
