In a move to reform india's educational system, Kapil Sibal has tried to introduce two ideas-

1) A common board for the entire country

2)Optional board exams for class X.

[As per the recommendations, if a student wants to go for pre-university course, he might appear for the class X exam, but if a student is already pursuing the course in the same school, he need not appear for the exam to be promoted to class XI as his performance will be based on internal assessment.]

How practical do you think are the proposals?

Secondly, how the hell could he propose them before the media without taking his own party into favour??!!😆

many students were overjoyed but I think mr sibal still needs to work out many details & changes that wud arise . It needs to B carefully worked out. The proposed grade system ib boards also raises a lot of questions.

yeah, leave the students aside, the parents were more overjoyed it seemed😆

There are so many things that still need to be looked up though. Lets see what Mr Sibal does. He has raised the expectation barrier !

Outsouce standardized testing to the Educational Testing Services and create the DESISAT. Every state has its own curriculum, but all students across the country must pass one standardized aptitude test.
