congo on the new CJ.......
after the Fanaa epi.....here's my comments.....
Appreciations:
-Rati's expressions were very remarkable and simply extraordinary. Arjun's transition from one expression to another, during the hug, was fabulous.
-the hug was good, MN's chemistry was rocking.
-loved it when Samrat said that "the friendship for which he was fighting, his that very friend is giving up on him". Very touching.
Criticisms:
-I was probably among the few who didnt mind the idea of SG's presence in the fanaa song when the info was first broken to us, but after watching the sequence, I am mighty pi**ed. An MN song, with the improtant lines said by kajol and aamir handed to SG wasnt a very wise move. It wasnt just the music, it was the lines!!!!! Really PD, I wonder if MN are there in the SG song, when the 'rab ne bana di jodi' line goes on.
you had said that
"intercutting on scene with another gives pace to an episode...its very boring to watch it in a straight line!!! it makes for more fun... always... its just a grammar of editing!!!"....so shouldnt it be the other way round as well. MN being in RNBDJ track? Or is it that watching MN in a staright line is the only boring thing??? Its not only about intercutting, its about one lead intercutting the other. The importance tends to shift then. I still wanna know, are MN there in RNBDJ???
-In the SG scene at the beginning, Samrat's lines were touching and very sensible. However, I found, Gunjan's lines to be very blah and it didnt make any sense to me whatsoever. She went on about being friend with a guy who was truthful. What has truth got to do with any of this thing? Then said something about Samrat no longer being the samrat she knew. If samrat was the samrat she knew, then why on earth does she expect him to fall in love? didnt we all know samrat always fall in and out of love? That love holds no 'special' meaning for him. Friendship is what he cares for? Everything Gunjan said was so contradictory and out of context.
Suggestions:
-Please be clearer when giving scoops. Example, Fanaa wasnt just a MN song, but you said it was MN song. And 'mad/madness' usually refers to 'anger/makes fans curse and swear' in forums like these, while 'crazy/craziness' means 'hyper/elated/ability to make fans jump with pleasure'. Also, shock is usually an unpleasant thing, and surprise is a pleasant one. I do not mean to offend you, but its just that sometimes the words can derail us.
-If possible, show some sparks flying between SG. They are becoming too much of friends to have that non-platonic thing exist in between them.
regards
