Given her history with all of the people above, who do you think deserves to participate, or at least be in her wedding invite list?

If you don't like certain combo's I offered e.g. you want to include Dada but exclude Papa, select 'Other combo' and just post which.

To recap, and help you make your decisions:

Kalpana - been w/ Jyoti throughout
Sudha - supportive of Jyoti, but too meek to speak out for her when Sushma was raving mad
Dada - supportive, and showed his support by walking out of the group the moment Brij & Sushma walked in
Dadi - unappreciative of Jyoti's contribution until final showdown, but contrite lately; Deepu too supportive of Jyoti, but didn't support her during final showdown, and also guilty of smearing her reputation w/ prospective grooms 😡😡😡
Padma - worse than a step mom, despite being Masi, but if others in family are invited, is there a pretext for leaving her out?
Sushma - I don't want her there, but leaving that as a choice for those who think she should be an all-forgiving saint 😈
Brij - Same as #6 above

correction

dada did not include brij and sushma but chose to quit the show himself and become ruined.instead of taking them in.brij had made his own troupe with dada's team.didnt u see the war between dada and brij and when dada was asked to be seated in the front row which brij had resrved for him.he is nowhere guilty.

i think in the wedding there should be Kalpana and her mum, Sudha, Dadi, Sundeep and Joyit's dad, ofcourse the kids, the guy who works in the school who Jyoti calls uncle, and the guy who teache's her to dance and Pankaj's family

I don't agree that Dadi & Deepu deserve to be there. Given that Deepu is the one who sabotaged all the rishtas, and in the process, did what he could to defame Jyoti, he deserves to be left out, regardless of how contrite he currently is. In fact, it's worth noting that as long as he lives in that house, he is powerless to effectively criticize Sushma, since Padma can always throw the 'You too strayed' argument at him. Leave him out of it, and let him brood over it.

I don't agree that Dadi belongs there either - while she may be more respectful of Jyoti lately, in the past, she too mocked her chosen profession - dancing (during the episode when she scoured Jyoti for introducing Sushma to dance class), and caused Jyoti enough headaches by her constant bullying of Sudha. No, she too should be left out of the wedding. In fact, she can't fix the damage she has done to Sudha either. Suggestion - once Sudha is hitched to Uday, just take KK back to her village and leave Padma, Deepu, and soon to add Sushma back to that house.

i dont agree with u,if u dont forgive those who have realised their mistake,u dont have a right to ask for being forgiven either.havent u been at fault ever in ur life?.nobody is perfect.everbody commits faults.but if they realize it,they shud be given a second chance.u know why?they have gathered courage to say the three most difficult word in the world-I AM SORRY!!

i agree that sudha has developed a split personality bcoz of dadi,but dadi has realized her mistake and is treating sudha nicely.

AS SHE HAS MADE SUDHA LIKE THIS,SHE IS THE ONLY AND ONLY PERSON WHO CAN CHANGE HER AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT.

as for deepu,i dont understand why doesnt somebody speak out that he is in the house becoz he has realized his mistake and is trying to curb it even by working as a courier boy.sushma on the other hand after ditching jyoti fully concentrates day and night on blaming her even if her gas stove doesnt work properly.(jabki the truth is she is running the stove with jyoti's hard earned money)

therefore i feel dadi,sudha and deepu shud be also a part of the cermony

On the contrary, those are pretty easy words to say, along the lines of 'talk is cheap'. Yeah, Deepu is repentant about cheating his family after all but one of his fair weather friends deserted him. Also, this is the only thing he is repentant about, as I go on to describe below.

Sorry, just b'cos Dadi was the one who screwed it doesn't imply that she knows how to fix it. Sudha's problems are psychological, and she needs a psychologist to cure her, not some old superstitious misogynic geezer.

That's because the point under discussion here is not whether he deserves to stay in the house or not - since he has cleaned up that part of his act, he does.

But the other thing he did was to defame Jyoti to all the prospective groom families - telling them about her horrorscope, her expensive tastes, that she wants to live like a filmstar despite not having much to offer herself, et al. Don't give me that 'I'm sorry' crap - he needs to undo that, but that is impossible. For if he were to go back to those families and tell them the whole truth, they'd not want to marry Jyoti because she had vile relations like Padma and yes, Deepu. So he is not in a position to do anything. Because of him, Jyoti never got to see or know anyone who might be better than Pankaj in taking care of her, and so he does not deserve to be invited.

In this dept, if not the other, Jyoti should treat him as though he is unrepentant, and not leave the door open for a sabotage of her wedding. After all, it's not just her wedding - it's Pankaj's wedding too.

Deepu is just marginally less of a lowlife than Padma and Sushma are.

Well, in today's episode, Jyoti seems pretty reluctant to invite anyone from her family, and Kalpana was trying to persuade her not to keep her dad, dadi & Sudha in the dark. I'd like her to invite Sudha, but I wouldn't blame her if she chose not to tell her dad. After all, by keeping this info about her mom a secret, her dad left her defenseless about handling her, leaving her w/ no clues as to why Deepu & Sushma were her favorites. Also, if I figured her right, had Jyoti known that they were her step-siblings, she'd have been more cautious about how she handled them, rather than just bluntly upbraid them for being mean to Sudha. But since she (and all sisters & bro) thought that they were all blood siblings, she obviously didn't think she had to think twice about what she did. Had her dad not kept this from her, she would have been in a much better position to defend herself. So she felt betrayed not only by her step-mom, but by almost everyone in the family - none of whom spoke out for her, and so she walked away with the portrait of her real mom.

Anyway, let's see what decision she makes.

Hi -

Kalpana, her mom and Sudha should be invited.

Dada, the dance troupe, and the kids at the orphanage should be invited.

Dadi is feeling sorry and has told Padma off more than a few times - so she is acting on her feelings. She should be invited.

Deepu is feeling sorry and even got a job to help out. He has tried to talk reason to his mother, but she blackmails him and he's not strong enough yet to tell her off - but he should be invited.

Kamal Kishore is the one person besides Sudha that Jyoti truly loves, and he has used his words on Padma - so he should be forgiven for holding a secret, and invited.

Padma, Sushma and Brij should not be invited as they have not learned their lesson.

I agree with the forgiveness - I would always say to forgive, but never to forget. When you forget what people have done to you, then you get in trouble. But, if you don't forgive, then this hate can eat you up inside.

The fact is that much of Jyoti's family has realized their mistakes and truly do love her. Love is what she needs at her wedding.
