Just felt really nostalgic and remembered this movie! Great memories associated with the songs, the movie (watched it with family when i went for cousin's wedding to pakistan), and it was just beyond insane how crazy everyoen was about this movie.

Here's a look down memory lane. What are your thoughts about htis flick? Sure, melodramatic, somewhat an overdose of cheeze (waht with jaya bachan's never ending tears) and some scenes I cringed when srk and hrithik cried together, lol!

But overall, man, its a classic! Such a huge starcast has never been witnessed before, nor attempted till now.

Amitabh Bachan, Jaya Bachan, ShahRukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee. WOW!

self torture just ain't my thing, the whole movie was a total cringefest and second hand embarassment..

LOLZ! COme on, it wasnt that bad, haha! I know my uncle despizes this movie and makes fun of it all the time. And sometimes I have to agree with him, but overall, it was mad fun. I embraced the cheese overload 😆

Well personally I loved this movie 👏
True Bolly family film 😉
The actors were all really talented, and each of the couples had mindblowing chemistry 😳
Love the memorable dialogues, like the 'take a chill pill' 😆
And have to admit to a few tears myself at times 😳
Songs and dances were awesome as well 😛
Yeah i agree it was cheesy and melodramatic at times but could still watch it any time 😃

lol sry but it was that bad and worse, i can't remember a single moment in that movie that didn't make me cringe..

in fact if anyone ever needed to get some truth out of me, they can play the theme song and show me the video of that You are my sonia song, and i will crack in a few seconds..i would beg them to electrocute me, hang me upside down and throw cold water at me, ANYTHING.. just don't put me through that mental torture!!

Hahah! I have all the dialogues memorized! Omg, I love this movie to bits and pieces, lol!

Kajol was FANTASTIC! Loved Srk, Hrithik was adroable, Kareean was HILARIOUS, Amitabh was great, Jaya was meh...I personally felt aht they could have cut down some of her scenes and put more of Srk, Kadz, Duggu, and bebo's, haha!

Lil kid Krishie was adorable as well!

Love this movie its so funny and all the cast apart from srk/kajol which does not need to be said about also have amazing chemistry.Kjo himself said that this is one star cast that will not happen again.Great storyline and songs in it as well.

I loved it.. It makes me cry still 😭 and the scenes between Kajol and Srk are soooo cute . I love the bangle scene when SRK goes "Chuba...? mujhe bhi .. ahhhh i so faint at that scene 😍. Kajol and Srk are just amazing together .

Great topic Desigirl (was just watching this yesterday! LOL)

I absolutely agree with others it was overly melodramatic, and at times cringeworthy too!

If anything worked for this movie, and made it such a HUGE success was the starcast no doubt, esp the four leads! They made this medicore, done to death script/storyline (if there was any LOL) a complete entertainer. Seriously just for Kajol/Bebo/SRK and Hrithik I can watch this movie again and again, and still be entertained, despite the countless flaws in it!

I LOVED Kajol and Kareena the most in this movie, Kajol was on fire in the first half, and then second half Kareena was. LOVED there scenes together, there comic timing was the highlight of this movie! I just WISHED they had more scenes together esp in the second half!

Jaya irritated me the most with her scenes LOL most of the time I found her so fake (she is an amazing actress), BUT I struggled to connect with her in this ONE!

Kareena's interactions with both Srk/Kajol in second half were hilirious!

For Kjo as a director KKHH is still his best work for me, both K3G and KANK were a let down from his directorial skills point of view. I hope MNIK proves his turning point!
