Love triangles are the only theme they can show in Rom-Com or a love story. Indian cinema are still conservative in showing the bolder part. Once it did show in KANK it was rejected in India. If they don't want to invest a love triangle than they should write a love story on a marriage theme or enemies to lovers troupe like Raja Rani starring Arya & Nayantara in Tamil revolves around marriage and their traumatic past or Geeta Govindam starring Vijay Deverkonda & Rashmika the enemies to lovers. Regional cinemas when they want to do a love story,they have lots of ideas and not stick to love triangles. Actually regional cimemas has lots of love stories with no love triangles theme. BW are lazy & they copy trends if one subject works than all copy to same subject till it gets exhausted

Honsstly now love stories & Rom-Com will be less and less in demand. Unlike 90s & 00s in which it was rage. The current generation does not how to act at all. They don't have the charm & eyes even chemistry to do a rom-com. Thats why with new gen its a flop. They don't know how to romance at all. They try to westernise by showing love equal to sex and thats the reason noone connects with it.

True 💯. Thats why neither Veronica had that control on Gautam's love for Meera nor Ally had that control on Kunal for Diya. Love cannot possessed or forced it happens. Ally was even more stupid to try to break a 16 yrs old love & relationship. When love is strong & the guy is so committed & in love with his wife no matter what you do neither you can manipulate him nor seduce him. As for Veronica she was wronged though both betrayed her they could have deal it in another way. Hated Gautam though

Cocktail 1 had a more engaging and organic script...that's all! 😁

For the Cocktail Franchise, an engaging and organic script can result in better Box Office numbers... Just saying! 🙏
