Shubhangi Atre might be out of a job after her show Kasturi wrapped up, but she is looking at the silver lining: the actress is finally getting to know her two-and-a-half-year old daughter Ashi.
This time was earlier shared with Shubhangi's commitment to Kasturi. She adds, "I am very happy to spend time with my daughter after so long. While I was shooting for Kasturi, my timings were such that I hardly spent any time with her. Sometimes, I took her to my sets where she would mingle easily with everyone."
Shubhangi can't stop gushing about her little girl. She says, "Ashi loves drawing and painting. At such a young age, she can paint exceptionally well with water colors. She has often won prizes for her talent. Apart from that, she is very fond of dancing; she keeps singing and dancing to Tu Saala Kaam Se Gaya and Baby Tu Badi Fit Fit from Billu."
Ashi is set to go to Senior KG this year and though she got along with the adults on Shubhangi's sets, the toddler has trouble with kids her own age. Shubhangi adds, "She is very reserved when it comes to mingling with everyone. She has very few friends in school too. Her teachers say that she is very friendly and obedient but at the same time, she doesn't get along with everyone."
On the work front, Shubhangi recently shot a pilot episode for a weekly comedy which will soon air on SAB TV. She elaborates, "It's a weekly show and it has great actors like Swapnil Joshi, Rajesh Thakkar and many others. Though, nothing is finalised and they haven't called me back."
The actress will soon be going on holiday to London with her daughter and her husband Piyush.
