Nupur Alankar, popularly known as Halki bua of Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan (Zee TV), is back on TV with the character Thumki bua on Raja Ki Aayegi Barat. Along with Nupur, Apra Mehta will also make her entrance on the show playing the character of Jhumki.
Nupur, who started shooting two days ago, says, "We play vicious sisters who are entering into this royal family. We are not buas of the family but we will pretend to be so. Apra Mehta is playing my elder sister. We try to hypnotise the family members and create a lot of troubles that make their lives miserable."
It is going to be a big cameo for both Apra and Nupur as their character s will be on the show for at least for 5 months. Nupur adds, "Though we all know that the devils have to die so our roles will end."
Initially, Nupur's role was shot for by a different actress. She says, "They shot with her for one day but she was not suitable so I am her replacement. The characters are entering to enhance TRPs."
Talking about the similarities between her earlier character and this one, she says, "Halki was the eldest and here I am playing the younger sister. The only thing these two have in common is that they will fight with each other like Halki and Phulki. Further, this is my 97th show. I have played all kinds of roles so there will be similar characters. I accepted the show as it is just a cameo."
Nupur and Apra's entry will air tomorrow. Nupur left her show Betiyaan a few days ago and is presently doing just this show. Meanwhile, Apra too is busy with just this show after finishing her cameo on Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Wohi Rab Ki Marzi.
