I missed the first few minutes.........I am sure we did not miss much.
Rekha gives Ram a petition to the police to step up investigation into her father's murder. Ram hesitates and tells Rekha they first concentrate in making their business a success but Rekha tells him otherwise. She tell Ram he must sign the petition because it is under his name - that he initiated it. Ram is shocked and ask why. Rekha tells him he is the head of the family and it is the right thing to do and forces him to sign. Ram finally signs it and Rekha leaves to see their lawyer. Ram is worried about what Soma will do after seeing the notice.
Vishu is praying at the the temple. He thanks God for showing Kasthuri the right path and making her agree to marry Thiru. He prays that the wedding takes place with no problem and that Kasthuri lives a happy and peaceful life. He walks out and Kasthuri enters. Kasthuri asks about Masil and is told he had gone back to the village for some temple function. He also says he doesn't know anything about Kasthuri's decision. Kasthuri tells her father to wait while she prays and they can go back together.
Rekha waits at home and the phone rings. It is Soma speaking as though talkingto Ram. Soma says Ram forgot his cell and wants him to come by and collect it on his way home. Soma continues saying that Ram should immediately work on getting all of Rekha's wealth changed to his name. Rekha fumes but just keeps quiet. Soma continues saying that the sooner he gets Rekha under his reins, the better and tells Ram not to forget to come by to discuss other matters and hangs up.
Rekha is fuming. Ram comes in and apologizes for being late. Rekha asks where he has been and Ram says he met a friend of his and they were talking. Rekha tells him not to lie ad Soma had called about him forgetting his cell. Ram insists he has not met Soma since Rekha had not told him to. Rekha does not believe him and warns him not to lie to her or else. THODARUM.
