On August 20th, 2007, We all gathered here under the roof of Sangam. The storyline which was very interesting, the couple of Sagar and Ganga and the beautiful songs of the serial got us hooked to watch this serial and we became part of it.

So, Sangam is the story of a girl Ganga, intelligent and ambitious, who believes in following her dreams and giving the best to her family. Her parents are her support pillars who unconditionally any circumstances stand by her and her dreams and she moves ahead to fulfill them. But life makes her put interests of others before her own aspirations and she emerges heroic .

Ganga's marriage stopped 3 times

Sagar - Ganga quarrelled 3 times .

We have seen 3 Kaveri's .
We have seen 3 pairs of Villians supporting each other .

Finally coming to our SaGa ,
We have seen SaGa in 3 different looks .
As I think 3 is the Lucky number for Sangam , I want to divide it into 3 stages based on the different looks of SaGa .

The Story is based on a Chirpy & Happy Young Girl who wants to fulfill her father's dream. But life has other shocks stored for her. Ganga like the river, spreads happiness and joy to all around her despite and problems. Just as the river diverts and make barren land fertile and at the same time has mud in it but emerges out to be pure - Ganga is similar to the river Ganga . Ganga who has mud splattered over her by society but yet remains pure at heart !

The Story....
This Show is the story about Ganga as she struggles through life- going from her small town to the big city in search of her love. For a small town girl, Ganga has big dreams. Dreams that her poor school master -father Deena Nath has seen for her. Deena Nath wants Ganga to pursue college in Mumbai, and become a free- spirited and an independently thinking person. But destiny plays its old hand and Ganga find its difficult to her aspirations.

Its been a long and fun journey with all the good and bad twists, new entries and a lot more . The journey was all the more fun with you all present in the forum . I hope you all enjoyed being a part of this forum, and that our friendship will continue to grow beyond this forum .
