CEO of Nike? 🤣

What that guy did was rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and uncalled for. No matter what a politician's policies are, it does not give anyone any right to commit such an act. We do not have any right to treat any human in such a way. Granted Bush has done nothing but received criticism, I would've appreciated it more if the politician had questioned Bush in a more upfront manner publicly. Such as asking him, "President Bush, have you found the weapons of mass destruction? And if so, where were they hidden? In Saddam's turban? Or under Osama's bed?" A critical questioning which would lead to Bush's obvious lack of knowledge and well-thoughtout responses if that isn't evident already. Instead the reported did something which totally backfired.

Do I think three years in prison is justified? No, I don't. I do think they are being too harsh there. Do I think what Bush did in Iraq is justified? No, I do not. But again, this act was uncalled for.

Bush was on a farewell visit to Iraq & attending a press confo when this incident took place. The security of any foriegn dignitary on official visit is the responsibility of the Govt of that country which happens to be Iraq in this case. So when someone insulted & attacked Bush during this visit it shows a failure on part of the Govt of Iraq . So it is only proper that they convicted the shoe thrower. As for the magnitude of the punishment - that depends on the laws prevailing there.

What Bush did was against humanity and world media criticized him but what Muntazar did... it was very insulting...it was Iraq's governments failure. It was Iraqi Governments duty to provide security to Bush. But three year in jail is not justified ..Bush also deserved impeachment and jail
