REAL brings on the competition

So, I was reading today's paper, and what do I come across, but an article on one of the most awaited TV channels, REAL. I've been hearing a lot about his channel, and thought that I should put in my two bits.

I really think that Indian television is going to the dogs, with the pathetic, soppy soap opera scene ruling the roost. What we need is a change, and hopefully, REAL will be able to give us that change.

I've heard a lot of channels claiming that they're going to bring about a radical change in Indian television, but most of the time, they end up like the others' clones, with tasteless dramas. But today's Bombay Times had some news about some of the REAL's shows, and they seemed quite interesting.

One of the shows on REAL called 'Poker Face' particularly seemed interesting, and it has one of my favourite actors, Sharman Joshi as the host. They've basically based it on its UK counterpart, which is very popular there. Another one that was mentioned was 'Vicky Ki Taxi', which is a bout a taxi driver who turns into a reluctant Good Samaritan and helps out his passengers.

So hey, looks like REAL is right when they say that they're bringing something new and interesting to our homes. Let's just hope they can keep it up!

I am waiting for this show, but only thing is this is gonna be only one week's show (atleast in season one) But contestants may have earned a lot in weekend.....hehe
