whether these are conceptions or misconceptions, that is the question !
On first look it does seem as if critics have nothing to do except what you said,
it sounds too bad/good to be true to me 😆

Seriously, most critics in India lack ethics. I seriously doubt they write their own thoughts. Looks like they are on the payroll of the ones they are prising or of the one opposite you if they come after you with chaku chhuriyan. They have given really bad reviews to some failry good movies. At times, it makes me wonder koi imaan dharam hai ya naheen iss kaum mein!

But what i fail to understand is what is the need to believe in what critics say then ?
We know that what critics say can/cannot be true,
so why do many people form their opinion based on it,
and even tell other people as if they have seen the movie 😆(thats a different issue though)

Hey, I never said I believe them. I ridicule them - yes but I don't put my trust in their words.....well, unless it's a debate and I have to find a critique that gave SDM five stars. Then their words are bible and all those who refuse to believe that critic are heathens and will rot in hell😛 😆

Ethics comes in the picture if they are accompained by moolah. If I am on no one's payroll and don't get a dime for my writings then it's perfectly reasonable if I don't give a hoot about my subject's feelings😆

Well, I do feel for these reality show contestants and celebrities at times. kya kya naheen sunety hum paray shadi mein abdulley deewanon sey😆 maan na maan main tere ooper comment karney wala mehmaan😆

as a matter of fact, i guess yes ,
you need to be really thick skinned if you are into these kinds of work
