Another Solo hit for Sha'hit'?

Teenage heartthrob Shahid Kapoor has certainly proved to all that he is a force to reckon with in Bollywood with back to back solo hits in the form of VIVAAH (2006), JAB WE MET (2007) and not to forget KISMET KONNECTION (2009), which despite its flaws, did more than above average business just on the sheer merit and charm of its lead actor! And so naturally, after SRK, Aamir, Hrithik and Akshay, it's Shahid who is considered a bankable prospect, when it comes to weaving magic at the ticket window. In fact, it will not be an exaggeration to say that Shahid has even overtaken (barring in the Overseas) the likes of more senior colleague like Saif Ali Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.

Keeping his habit of delivering one solo hit every year intact, it appears that this year, its Vishal Bhardwaj's hard hitting KAMINAY which is all set to do the trick for Shahid. The promos of the film which were aired with Rakeysh Mehra's DELHI 6 have come in for universal praise and the audience can sense that they are in for a treat of a different kind from the versatile and enigmatic Vishal and heartthrob of countless female fans, Shahid Kapoor. The hot and sexy Priyanka Chopra and the chillingly dangerous looking Amol Gupte (refer to our breaking news on Amol's baddie act!) are an added bonus which will lure in the audience when the film is unleashed worldwide on June 5, during the hot and scorching summer vacations.
