What lured the supporting cast, stars whose careers will forever be marred by their participation in The Pink Panther 2, is anyone's guess. John Cleese, as Clouseau's long-suffering superior, Chief Insp. Dreyfus; Andy Garcia, Jean Reno, Alfred Molina, Yuki Matsuzaki and South Asian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Clouseau's nitwit sidekick in an international detective "dream team" assembled to unmask the Tornado, who has stolen some of the world's great cultural artifacts; Lily Tomlin, as the newly appointed watchdog of political rectitude in the French gendarmerie; and Jeremy Irons, as the chief suspect, are shamelessly abused here, and about as funny as a train wreck.

I've actually heard from someone her role is very important to the script! I can't wait to see it for myself!

I love Aish i do but I HATED the first PP and I wont be running to the theatres anytime soon to watch the second one .. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD or something.

And Aish already said once that she doesn't play a lead in the movie.
