The news channels these days create the best hype, at times they better the entertainment channels too! Coming to the topic, its a skill to blend sarcasm and humour. The best eg among Hindi movies was "Jaane bhi do yaaro" and in serials the old "office-office".

Haven't watched jaabe bhi do yaaro

but ya ,
old office office was gold

Indeed sarcastic humour is usually not very funny or rather doesn't make you laugh a lot ,
its normally intellectualistic,
and brings a smile on your face and the expression in your mind that
"ya , main samajh gaya " 😆

btw ,
regarding the topic
i guess the example given of ashutosh vs sajid is not an apt one when talking about humour vs sarcasm

Jaane Bhi is a must watch, basically a satire on politics. Very well made.
No, I didnt give Sajid as an eg. The topic creator had mentioned the fracas, hence the context behd it.😊

in which farookh sheikh was there ,
it also was like a satire on politics,
and the acting was great,

Thanks for clarifying and yes I agree the eg isnt befitting.
I think the show was Ji pradhanmantri or something-a hindi version of Yes Minister ( British again😆)

i saw the footage, i think farah and sajid were just having fun, but Aushutash took it to the hart, said something to sajid which he shouldn't have. But then sajid took it even more further by saig that nobody's baap can say this to me.

so i think it's right to have fun, and make sarcastic comments as long as it's within the limts
