Aamir Khan's next Ferrari Ki Sawaari

Lagaan lovers rejoice! Aamir Khan, who played the gutsy young Bhuvan in Lagaan is all set to do one more film with cricket as the central subject. Called Ferrari Ki Sawaari, the film will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, who had been associated with Raju Hirani for several years.

Our source said, "Rajesh came up with the idea of Ferrari Ki Sawaari and Vidhu Vinod Chopra loved it. The film is the heartwarming tale of how the pursuit of an Indian cricket legend's Ferrari makes a young boy's dreams of playing cricket at Lords a reality. Vidhu will also co-write the film while Raju will do the dialogue. Between them they reached the conclusion that Aamir was the best actor to play the part. When they approached Aamir

with the proposal, he seemed pretty upbeat about it. Once he is done with 3 Idiots, his work for Ferrari Ki Sawaari will begin."

Says Vidhu, "Aamir's a fantastic actor. Our energies are focused on 3 Idiots currently. I think it is too early to comment on Ferrari Ki Sawaari now.

After Dev Anand's Awwal Number in 1990 and Ashutosh Gowarikar's Lagaan in 2001, this will be Aamir's third film revolving around everyone's favourite game cricket.
