Well, I finished "Change of Heart" a while ago but I had mixed feelings about it. It's an interesting novel and just like "My Sister's Keeper" it keeps you wanting to read more and more until you've read it all.
BUT I think it comes with a heavy dose of religion. Many people may not like that. Although I respect all religions very much, some parts became too cliched and some references to some of religious books were strange. I couldn't quite follow all the discussion unless I went and did some research on the gospels and scriptures Jodi talked about.
The characters are interesting, one of the main characters is a criminal charged of double murder on death row awaiting his death.
Just like "My Sister's Keeper," "Change of Heart" has a surprise at the end too. But this one is easy to guess after you've read like half the book. If you can follow the little clues here and there, you'll get it all.
Overall, I was expecting something better from Jodi Picoult especially after reading "My Sister's Keeper." But I guess all authors have their masterpiece and even they themselves can't match up to it again. If you have some spare time on your hands, do read it, but it does leave you a little confused at the end.
