The problem is that Bollywood refuses to acknowledge that 80% of the country lives in poverty and when the international fraternity acknowledges it we get annoyed. We all want to believe that India is becoming powerful but we cannot ignore that slums and poverty are a fact of life and you cant hide from that Mr. B. Besides Bollywood only wants to please the urban crowd and the NRIs. Where is the realistic cinema? I think the critics are right, it is jealousy speaking
