As feared by us that the King Khan wouldn't stake his super stardom at the altar of politics, Shah Rukh Khan's political friend in the Congress Party has already made an announcement to this effect. Congress Rajya Sabha member Rajiv Shukla has sought to dispel speculation about Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's entry into politics. Shukla says that the actor has no intention to contest the ensuing Lok Sabha poll from Mumbai. "All such reports are baseless", he adds. However, he clarifies that Shah Rukh is quite close to the Congress Party and the Gandhi family. In spite of his so close relationship with the Party president, the actor has no plan to enter politics. "He will focus on films and no one from Congress has approached him for the elections," Shukla said, adding that Shah Rukh has not evinced any interest in Congress ticket. These rumors started in the media when Govinda at an earlier stage had announced to renounce contesting again for the Lok Sabha from Mumbai.
But according to the latest reports emanating from quarters close to Govinda, the latter is ready to fight Lok Sabha seat again if the Congress Party nominates him. In fact, Govinda has already begun his campaign by visiting religious places. He was recently noticed visiting a temple in Mumbai along with his family and friends. Thus, the political scene is quite clear that Shah Rukh wouldn't enter politics and Govinda would continue to dabble into it what may happen to his filmi career. In any case, Govinda has nothing to lose by contesting poll and Shah Rukh has nothing to gain in following into the footsteps of Govinda. Both have taken the right decisions according to their present status in the film industry.

good to know that SRK is not entering politics.......personally i think that someone should not enter politics just because they are popular..........you should get into politics because you want to do something for the country........but sadly not all politicians think like that.....

I think the media is the one who made up these things as it's mentioned in the article, there was nothing like this at all in reality!.........
