Anupamaa: Prerna gets close to Prem and kisses him; his photo with Rahi shatters

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Rahi appears disturbed and unable to stay calm. Anupama notices her uneasiness and gently asks what is troubling her. Rahi admits that she cannot clearly explain her feelings but has a strange sense that something unpleasant is about to happen. Sensing her anxiety, Anupama suggests that perhaps she is simply missing Prem and encourages her to give him a call. Rahi reveals that she has already tried reaching both Prem and Prerna, but neither of them answered, which has only increased her worry.

Trying to comfort her, Anupama asks Rahi to lie down and rest her head in her lap. As she closes her eyes, Rahi recalls Mahi’s earlier warning. Mahi had questioned her decision to send Prerna along with Prem. Although Rahi defended Prem and said she trusted him completely, Mahi pointed out that Prerna is emotionally vulnerable and could grow closer to Prem if he shows her kindness. Rahi firmly stated that Prem would never cross any limits. However, Mahi then asked why Prem never told Rahi about Prerna’s feelings for him. This thought continues to trouble Rahi and makes her even more uneasy.

At the same time, Prem reassures Prerna that he will always support her, but only as a friend. When a few miscreants harass Prerna, Prem steps in and protects her. Shaken by the incident, Prerna hugs him tightly, and Prem calms her down. Back home, Anupama questions Rahi again, trying to understand the real reason behind her fear. She soon realises that Mahi’s words have planted seeds of doubt in Rahi’s heart. In a moment of vulnerability, Rahi asks Anupama how she felt when she discovered Maya’s feelings for Anuj. The question reminds Anupama of her painful past. She senses that Rahi is comparing situations and gently asks her not to change the topic.

Meanwhile, Prerna refuses to let Prem leave her alone, saying she is terrified after what happened. Prem urges her to try and sleep but silently worries about his phone being switched off, knowing Rahi must be anxious.

Elsewhere, Kapil confronts Kriti in anger, demanding to know why she threatened his mother. He reveals that his mother has gone missing and urges Kriti to consider her age and vulnerability. Kriti accuses his mother of taking money from her husband. Kapil argues that there is nothing wrong in financially supporting his own mother. In a shocking moment, Kriti cruelly says that his mother deserves to die. Overcome with rage, Kapil almost loses control and raises his hand, but Vasundhara intervenes and slaps him instead. She decides to involve the police. Kriti cleverly portrays herself as the victim in front of Vasundhara, who warns Kapil before leaving.

A shattered Kapil later speaks to Anupama and expresses his desire to end his life. Alarmed, Anupama stops him just in time. Kapil breaks down and shares how men facing domestic abuse have no protection or voice. He says society quickly believes a woman’s tears but rarely listens to a man’s suffering. Anupama encourages him to open up about his past. Kapil reveals that he once promised his mother he would never harm his wife, which is why he kept tolerating Kriti’s disrespect and aggression. Now, he feels emotionally drained.

Anupama asks why he continues to stay silent. Kapil explains that Kriti enjoys societal sympathy, family backing, and even legal support, which makes him feel helpless. He believes that men are often judged as guilty by default, while women are rarely questioned. He also admits that many men silently endure similar pain. When Anupama suggests divorce, Kapil says Kriti will never agree because her family would reject her if she leaves the marriage.

In the precap, Prerna walks toward a sleeping Prem to cover him with a blanket. While he is asleep, Prem unknowingly holds her hand. Prerna smiles softly, leans closer, and kisses his forehead. Prem suddenly wakes up in shock and shouts, “What the hell?"

At home, Rahi and Prem’s framed photograph suddenly falls and shatters, leaving both Rahi and Anupama unsettled. Kapil declares that he will no longer tolerate Kriti’s abuse. Anupama advises him to stay calm, gather evidence by recording Kriti’s behaviour, and bring the truth to light instead of acting impulsively.
