My POV goes like this. Raj feels that kranti also has some feelings for him like he does, considering those eyelocking moments and her previous concern for mangalsutra.

that night the way kranti was behaving and not at all scared to be alone with him in a lonely place...raj felt maybe kranti has to some extent realised her feeling for him.

so wen kranti began to provoke he let go of his defences and did what nature made him do.

that next day kranti will take such a disgusted view of this was beyond Raj's imagination. he was under the impression that he had Kranti's consent and that is y i said that on that particular night Raj did hv the right to make love with her.

i am also a woman and i know without a woman's consent not even a husband has a right over her body. but, here i am duscussing only of that particular night.

i was NOT talking about women in general although my selection of words went to that direction. But i guess Jyoti to some extent expressed wat i wanted to write.
