Fragrance part-1
Premlata sprinkled the holy water of river Ganga over all the members standing in the prayer room with hands folded infront of idols?she asked everyone to join for the breakfast?
Premlata served everyone with their breakfast and said to her family,comprising her husband and the apple of her eyes her two children:aaj kaka sahib ka beta milind aa raha hai?hume wahan jana chahiye kafi samay baad use dekhenge,vilayat se aa raha hai pata nahi pehchaanega bhi nahi pehle toh poora din shaitani hi karta rehta tha..!(today kaka sahab's son milind is returning back to India?.we should go to meet them it has been ages since we last saw him?he's coming from abroad,have doubt if he'll recognize us or not,earlier he used to have mischievous up his sleeve)
Alaap excitedly biting on his paratha:milind aa raha hai!!!kitna maza aayega hum phir se ek sath tafri karenge,tang karenge?tu nahi mili na usse kabhi prachi..(milind is coming!wow it will be fun to be with him,we'll again hang out,create fun n pull other's leg,you never met him prachi no?)he looked towards his fragile sister but before she could speak he himself spoke:kaise milti itne saal chachi ke yahan banaras mein jo rehti thi?aaj usse milna tujhe bhi acha lagega..(how could you meet him when you yourself was living with chachi in varanasi?.meet him today you'll love him)?
Prachi meekly nodded she wasn't a robust,she hardly talk to unknown male species?there was something which made her hesitant?something she really have to work upon..
Premlata announced:chalo jaake taiyar ho jao?hume nikalna hai..kaki sahib ne phone kiya tha wo intezaar kar rahe hai?(lets get go and get ready?we have to leave?kaka sahib called and said he's waiting)...
Shah's were welcomed by kaka sahib and his only daughter sukriti?.sukriti looked over alaap and then their eyes met?there was young love shining in it and prachi knew it all?the family entered except prachi,sukriti and alaap..prachi hugged her brother sideways and said:kyu,sukriti aaj humare bhaiya kaise lag rahe hai?kafi time liya hai mahashaye ne taiyaar hone mein?(hmm..sukriti so how is my brother looking,he look extra time and care to get dressed)?
Sukriti smiled shyly when prachi hugged her and whispered:missed you bhabhi?
Her crimson cheeks turned more red after listening to the word "bhabhi"?.prachi left her and gestured alaap to hug her?he himself blushed and hugged her and after planting a kiss to her forehead left her?sukriti like a new-bride escorted them inside where their parents were sitting?
The elders were in their mature talk?while sukriti's eyes complained to alaap about not calling her last night?prachi looked towards her brother and his love sukriti and knew they both were deeply in love with each other and she too liked sukriti for being simple yet so giving,she always took care of alaap's need?whether he's having his food on time?studying or not?etcetera ?etcetera?.alaap was lucky to have her and one day she also might get lucky and find her prince?
Suddenly she came back on earth when premlata asked sukriti:beta milind kahan hai use bhi bulao..(child,where is milind ask him also to join us)?
Sukriti said:aunty,main nahi bulaongi wo aate hi mujhse mile bina so gaye?main unse naraz hun?(aunty,I am not calling him,after returning without even meeting me he went to sleep,I am angry with him)?
Premlata smiled she was very much like prachi and asked prachi then:prachi,jao tum chali jao..(prachi,you go and call him)..
Prachi was taken off guard,how could she go and call someone whom even she did know?how will she address him?she stammered:but maa-she was cu by kaka sahib who said :haan prachi upar se dahina wala karma uska hai..(yes prachi,go upstairs and its right one?his room)
Prachi mentally cursed herself for being mute and went upstairs?within a second she was standing at this strangers door?.she turned the knob and went inside?she walked a liitle more further only to meet by a pair of devil eyes?oh no!!!!she was scared of dogs and when it is this huge!!she backed off in the opposite direction?first the dog seemed to understand her and then slowly started sauntering towards her?.prachi moved back and then knew she will die?suddenly she hit a cold surface?.okay that's it she had hit the wall and now dog will come and eat her,but seconds later she found dog staring behind her and wasn't even moving an inch forward and when an arm encapsulated her waist,she jerked back only to face the man behind her?.their eyes met?.their first meeting?his eyes held amusement while hers nervousness?she turned pink to see his bare wet glistening chest with water running down?she was in his arms caged?she tried to speak:ji?woh...
Milind with gleam:you scared of dogs?
Prachi nodded meekly when milind looked towards his dog and said:romeo go and sit at your place..the dog wiggled his tail and went back?
At once prachi jerked back out of his arms,she was embarrassed?.she wasn't familiar to such male proximity though she herself wasn't immune to it?..
Prachi said:kaka is calling you?
Milind:kaka?who kaka?
Prachi:wo..wo aapke pitaji?(umm?um..your father)
Milind was about to burst open at her using "pitaji" but he knew she was just another typical Indian girl with same old fashion attitude with no eloquence?without even he could say something she ran away?prachi kept her hand over her heart after coming from room?.it was too unexpected!!!she went down and joined others?.
Milind looked himself in the mirror?and smiled that girl was just like any other girl falling for his charms but it wasn't her fault he himself was a masterpiece of god's sculputre..little did he know it will be him who'll fall for her charm!!!!!
