Nakash enters II Final Round

Mumbai, Dec 11: Nakash Aziz, a young singer of Mangalorean origin and son of Naushad of Rema Roses group, has been selected for the 28th round of the reality show Indian Idol on 2 Sony TV.

Naushad had made a name in Mangalore decades ago with his Rema Roses group. Currently he is employed by Corporation Bank and is based here in Mumbai. His brother Amir Jan too is a well-known singer with Rema Roses.

Nakash got into his father's footsteps. He has completed his college education here and has already presented many stage programmes.

He has also taken part in Sa-re-ga-ma Antakshari, Aao Jhoome Gaaye, Awaz Ki Duniya and other telemusic shows.

An independent music album of his is scheduled to be released soon.
