she doesn't have to answer any personal questions. i agree no need for her to say about her personal life on her own, but when he asked about her past ,he clearly asked her who are all there in delhi,she should have told the truth.(because she hesitated to say he told sorry for asking about her past)why she is keeping quit. why don't she tell that she is a widow or divorce whatever she is so that other gents will not develope feeling towards her..atleast that way she can avoid one more marriage.
