BV - 18th Dec 2008 - Written Update

Scene continues from the conversation b/w Maasa and Basanth. Basanth tells Maasa that Gehha had agreed to keep her mouth shut in front of outsiders. He tells Maasa that slowly Gehna was changing. He suggests that Maasa should not talk anything about Gehna's parents. Maasa asks him if this was Gehna's suggestion. Basanth agrees. Maasa tells Basanth she would do as he says for his sake. In the morning, Maasa asks Bhairav to accompany her to the bank. He says he has to meet someone about some land. Sumitra comes there with fruit for Maasa. Bhairav apologizes for the previous night's happenings. Maasa tells him it wasn't his fault. She tells him that Gehna can do as she wants but should never show her face to Maasa. Bhairav asks Maasa to forget all this and live happily with her kids...they will never go against her blah blah.

Maasa and Basanth are ready to go to the bank. Anandi and Jagya come running down. Maasa tells Jagya to do well. Even if he wrote nothing, because of her, he would get good marks anyway. Jagya tells Maasa that Anandi is coming along with him to give him food between breaks. Suguna gives Jagya and Anandi the shagun ka dahi. Maasa wonders why Suguna gave Anandi too, but Suguna manages with some excuse. At school, Anandi is concentrating on her paper. Jagya constantly keeps glancing at her, making sure she's writing, etc. Headmaster comes there and is happy to see Anandi so keen to study. Next day too Anandi is happily writing her exam.

After all exams are done, on the last day, the headmaster is returning from school. He runs into Maasa and Basanth. He blurts out to Maasa that this year, along with Jagya, Anandi too would pass with flying colors. Maasa is shocked and asks him to repeat what he said. The headmaster again repeats that both Anandi and Jagya gave exams this year. Maasa glares angrily.
