Where did you imagine Azkaban to be?

I was wondering.. when you read the books and read the description of Azkaban... which country did you imagine it to be in... I always thought it to be somewhere in the North... like Antarctica or someplace... what about you?

I couldnt imagine it near north, somehow it didnt fit in when I imagined it... south pole and away from all civilization and away from Hogwarts... in Britian

Although I'd imagine it down south, the sixth book gives away the location quite approximately being near the North Sea, not very far from Britian! 😊
