Vinay Pathak turns producer with DASVIDANIYA
With numerous top actors and directors turning producers, the day is not far behind when any artist worth his/her salt would get into the production front. Vinay Pathak too has joined the fray and has completed work on his first production – DASVIDANIYA. Along with Shashant Shah (who is also the director of the film), he has launched a production house Lemon Tea Productions.
A situational comedy, DASVIDANIYA has Vinay Pathak in a central role with support from Ranvir Shourey, Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Saurabh Shukla, Gaurav Gera, Suchitra Pillai, Sarita Joshi and Suresh Menon. The film has been made in association with One More Thought Entertainment (Azam Khan) who recently tasted success with PHOONK. Kailash Kher has been roped in as the composer of the film
Promotion of DASVIDANIYA has begun and the film is all set to arrive on 7th November, a week after GOLMAAL RETURNS, FASHION and EMI. It would be followed by DOSTANA which is confirmed for 14th November arrival.
About DASVIDANIYA
The film is a bitter–sweet situational comedy about a man Amar Kaul (Vinay Pathak), whose existence is easily forgotten among the millions of people in the pool of Mumbai's ever increasing population. His innocence and his obsession for making his daily TO–DO LIST every morning is what motivates him to look forward to the next day. And then begins a journey of a lifetime for Amar Kaul, where he sets out to write his FINAL LIST i.e. the List of 10 things to do before he dies. The List that would make his life worthy, before it actually ends. As the countdown begins, will Amar Kaul succeed in fulfilling the final tasks to do on his wish list, is what the film is about.
