Around two months ago, workers of the company were dismissed. The CEO of the company was reportedly beaten to death by a group of dismissed employees inside the premises after a compromise meeting called failed.
And our wonderful formor statistics mintster and currently Labour Minister is authorizing common man to take law into our hands
If the workers are dis-satisfied, They have a right to kill CEO. Now Government servants too are dis-satisfied with many policies of the government. We are not satisfied with their policies So we should kill the Secretaries and Ministers šŸ˜† If Mr. Oscar's logic is taken to a conclusion, then????? Oscar Fernades next apponiment should be PR spokesman for Congress šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ Sonia needs ministers like him.
Hiring always costs money so no business will fire a person just for the heck of firing, specially mass layoff.
when somebody is let go , that means the company is not doing well
The thing we need to be concern should be if the country is ready to absorb this kind of unemployed but here our Minister tells that any time a company fires a person, Run for your life.

NEW DELHI: The Government has said that "simmering discontent among the workers" is the main reason behind the death of L K Chaudhary, the CEO of an Italy-based company Graziano, in Greater Noida. ( Watch )

"This should serve as a warning for the managements. It is my appeal to the managements that the workers should be dealt with compassion," Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandes told reporters at a press conference.

"There are disparities in the wages of permanent employees and contract workers. The workers should not be pushed so hard that they resort to whatever that had happened in Noida," he said.

"It is a fact that the number of organised workers has been decreasing. It came down from seven per cent to six per cent. We are going to discuss the matter of hire and fire policy in the next Labour Congress. First we deal with PSU and later with private sector on the issue."

The workforce is "unable to express its simmering discontent over the management policies," leading to strained ties between them and the management, he said while expressing his condolences to members of the bereaved family.

The Minister is expected to visit the incident site on Wednesday.

If Dinesh Paliwal, Harman International Industries Inc. 15 months chief could step out of the shadow of the com'any's co-founder, former leader and namesake Sidney Harman who formed the company, any Indian CEO can work around the Indian government. It has to be a relationship that is developed over time.

The minister should pay attention and improve labour laws rather then encouraging a crime done. They should find ways to absorb the unemplyment and also look towards the improvements of trade conditions.
If the company is firing, it is already in bad state so what was the suggestion for them from our business support? Is this deed really going to encourage foreign investors to open their entity here???
