Is it just me, or does Indian Television have an infatuation with "Pagal" characters?

Chooriya,
Koshish
Sindoor Tere Naam ki
Bannoo main tere dulhan
Bidaai
Now this....

I bet there are more serials out there which have a "pagal" in the track....but I have noticed that any serial with a crazy person in it works wonders with the TRP's

yea serials with this pagal trend so gain a lot of success hope AV also does but urmi's not really pagal she's just like a normal 8 year old girl

I agree Tashmin just like split personality has become a trend in most serials so has someone being retarded but as you said these things usually work wonders for TRPs

There are only really a handful of shows revolving around the Mentally instable theme.

But after Koshish...Ek Asha and Choodiyan, there's been a surge of 'pagal' characters.🤔

Thats what seems to get people...

When the Pagal falls in love..

I guess its nice to watch the caring and the understanding develop between a sane and insane charecter....

Urmi is so adorable, and it will be pretty nice to see how she reacts to her sisters death, and have Aadesh sort of replace her, and also see how Aadesh takes on the duty...

i kno its soo sweet wen insane looks after sane or other way round like in bidai i luv the scenes wen they do that its sooo sweet

yh thats really true though...AV is verey interseting...i mean all the charachters have a different story...for me its more interseting cuz this is the first time i'm watching a serial in which the main charachter is pagl...but haila..urmi and adehs are sooo cuti pies...specially urmi.....and minali she very beautifull...
