On the other hand I am a confused person when it comes to politics. Dont know if I am republican or democrat, I like a little of both and often get crucified by my friends😆

I was confused before, but then slowly realized that I am a democrat. Since I am a liberal when it comes to other people's life and views. But when it comes to my life, I sometimes tend to put more restriction on my self.
And we are in the same boat about being crucified. I have learned to not speak some times, just because it is easier.

RINDHAM WROTE:
I do like our PM Manmohan Singh though I have reservations about his team and his boss, I think he has integrity.
(I write this again on the forum. Please do not take these views personally, I enjoy a good debate)
I don't think very much of "Madame Gandhi". I honestly think that was an anti incumbency vote on which she won and it doesnt speak much of the Indian voter.

You know, anti incumbency is a word often misused, when Congress gets back to power it is usually as a result of anti incumbency and when non Cong take over it is for a change or even for a clean govt. Though the same party is booted out after five years, so really it is difficult to say, there were host of other factors that gave cong the advantage.
Yes Mr Manmohan singh is a good PM and about madame Sonia Gandh I too would not rate her very high, but she exploited her situation to the party's advantage, did not lose her cool even during personal attacks, so rest assured she is a leader.
Well there are differences between a job and runing a counry and let us give credit to Mrs G for realising that and not saying God came in my dreams and asked me to rule the country . A nice way to avert an incoming disaster. What say? 😆

Before I present some arguments I must state I do not like any particular party, I dislike all of them infact-

It's possible that there were several reasons that congress won the election, but I still believe anti-incumbency was a major factor. this reasoning was presented several times by the Congress as well when they lost.

But I never made the second comment about the change or clean government because, to demand a "clean government" is a steep ask , atleast today, in my mind. It's possible this theme is played by the political parties in India but they never fooled me-

For me, being the PM or president of a country is definitely a job, a very tough one. To me being a leader means to take charge, shoulder responsibility and inspire your team and get the job done. I feel, a minimum understanding how to delegate is important. The person who is making decisions for a billion people and spending their money better think of it as a job and work hard. They are paid good money for it, by me as well. Sonia Gandhi (for me personally) is not my kind of leader.

The real man, Gandhi- now that's a true leader. His name has been put to very good use-🤔

😆 well said, but it was not through design but marriage in Mrs G's case. 😉
U know Sonia Gandhi is said to function as a corporate head, this method suits her.
But in politics, timing, intution and understanding pulse of the people is imp, she fails here. One can never replicate an organisations model in real life coz situations keep shifting and changing.
The biggest drawback in the congress is lack of democracy in the party, this is the case with BJP and TDP too.
One can pick up the best practices and innovate on them.
