August 25, 2008> Humiliation for Sal continues.
Tara Room
Tara is trying to pacify Advitya who is crying as Sal is watching from the window.
Next Advitya is climbing down the stairs with Sal behd him. He is abt to fall and before Sal cld hold him Laali maasi runs to hold him and takes him.
Sal is happily rocking Advitya on a toy and suddenly she realizes its empty.
Poor woman's house
The woman is making chappati when she sees the baby girl is crying. She goes to pacify her and then sees the chappati burning. She rushes to the stove and burns her finger but the chappati is burnt.
Corridor
Bhabho is with Advitya when Sal comes with Arti thaali to do tilak to Advitya but she stops and leaves.
Nahar Room
Nahar brings food for Sal and asks her to eat. Sal says she cant eat since Advitya didn't have milk since morning.
Tara Room
Advitya is sitting on the bed crying. Sal looks at him desperately from the door. She then leaves.
Nahar Room
Nahar is talking on phone abt business when Sal rushes to drag him to pacify Advitya. Nah asks her why cant she do it? Sal's face turns gloomy and Nah goes.
Tara Room
Nahar picks up Advitya who is still crying and tells Sal standing at the door that he is still crying so she shd handle. Sal is hesitant and just then Tara comes there. Tara pointedly tells Nah is trying to explain that she is the mother and will take care of her son. Nah asks her how can she be so stone hearted and Tara retorts she is no mood for arguments. Tearful Sal leaves with Nah following
Nahar Room
Sal desolately tells Nah that why is her "mamta" left untouched and if she had her baby then she wldnt have to see this day. Her "mamta" wldnt have been blackened. Nah tells her that its God wish and lets accept it. Sal says how can God be so unkind?, didn't Lord Krishna have Yashoda and Devki as mothers and Lord Ram had three mothers. Now no one will me "maa" and she failed in her duty as a wife and cldnt give him a child. Why cant she ever become a mother. Nah now hugs and says I don't need anyone when u are there with me. Your presence is enough for me.
Kali watches them hugging and thinks this sadness will continue and she will keep crying and wiping tears lifelong.
Tara Room
Tara is playing with Advitya when Laali seeing this decides that this peace shd not stay long since it might suffocate her. Tara watches her and calls her out. Laali tells Tara that its nice to see mother-son. Tara says she wont let anything happen to Advitya but Laali starts to insinuate her. She says whatever Tara might think still there are some people trying to eclipse their happiness. Just then Bhabho informs Tara that Rathore saab has invited them for his grandson's "mundaan" and dinner. Tara replies she doesn't feel like going since Adivtya just recovered. Bhabho tells her they will ask for her but Tara says no. Laali then says she doesn't eat " kachi-rasoi"anywhere not even mundaan's so she will stay and take care of Advitya. Tara still doesn't agree but Laali maasi insists and she agrees. Laali takes Advitya and goes out.
Corridor
Laali maasi sees Sal and asks Sal where is she going and simultaneously covers Advitya. Sal feels bad but happily tells her she is going to Mr Rathore's party. Laali cuts her short that she is committing another mistake by going to a child's "mundaan". In fact she shd keep away from all auspicious events like birthday, naam-karaan or mundaan. No one wants any evil shadow to be cast on their child and why give others a chance to point fingers. Sal is hurt and tearful.
Living room
Kakasa is calling out everyone. Brij-Nah,Tara are there. Shitij comes there. Nahar calls out for Sal as Kakasa, Brij-Tara leave and later Kali comes and leaves with Shitij.
Sal comes and tells Nah she doesn't want to go as she isn't feeling well and has a headache. Nah ques what happened suddenly? Sal replies nothing she is just tired. Nah says when she cant look into his eyes and say means she is hiding something from him and that is something like looking into the mirror and recognizing self. So if she is lying then the matter is big. Sal says she doesn't want to put her 'evil shadow' on a kid and become the reason for someone's pain. Nah replies that if someone says all this absurd things and she believes them. Her heart is pure and how can she cause pain? Sal says he thinks so but not others and she doesn't want to go. Nah says he doesn't care for people with such provincial mindsets. He too wont go now. Sal says he must go or else if others come to know he didn't go becoz of her it wld be tough to answer them. Sal then tells him he has done so much for her and this too. Nah replies its tough to refuse her and his heart wldnt be there
Laali room
Laali is sleeping when Advitya starts crying and she wakes up feeling irritated.
Sal room
Sal wakes up and wonders why is Advitya crying? Laali maasi is with him so she wld take care but why is he crying. Sal decides to check out.
Laali Room
Laali is piqued but just then an idea strikes her mind. She gets and watches Sal coming. She quickly lies down in the bed. Sal tries to call her out and then Advitya sits and holds her. Sal picks him up and again tells Maasi to attend to advitya. Sal then takes Advitya out of the room. Laali opens her eyes and smiles wickedly.
