Foul Play-article on Sanju's Kayamath exit

There's a new twist to Kayamath. We hear Sanjeeda Sheikh's track in the serial has come to an end. The pretty actor confirms it. 'Yes, my track has ended. I have shot my death scene,' she says. Sanjeeda, who made her way to our hearts as Nimmo in Ekta Kapoor's Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka? had signed on to play Ayesha last year. Unlike Nimmo, who was a bubbly young girl, Ayesha was a vengeful character, hell bent on avenging the injustices done to her mother. Ayesha does not die a natural death.

Sanjeeda however, has no issues about her track ending. 'It was a creative decision,' she says. 'I have no issues with Balaji Telefilms. My rapport with Ekta is the same. I respect her,' says the actor. After playing Ayesha for so long, will Sanjeeda would miss her? 'For me, once something ends, it ends. I will miss Ayesha, but more than that, I would miss my colleagues at Kayamath,' she says. In fact, she has already begun to miss them so much that she went to Film City just to have lunch with them. Sanjeeda now plans to enjoy her break before she begins her next projects.
