Some things are just meant to be'.some things like love. Two individuals'who love two different people'are brought together by circumstances'circumstances created by God. Now it was only a matter of time'until they can't help falling in love'with each other.
PART 1
The sun cut through the darkness of the previous night, bringing a new day. The early morning mist slowly cleared, as the birds began their happy chirp. There, on top of a hill, stood an elegant house'no, not a house'a mansion. A beautiful mansion it truly was, a residence that reflected the family full of love living in it. A family that had money, stature, and respect. This mansion was home to the Jaisinghs, one of the richest families living in India.
Someone started to sing'a very sweet voice reciting a prayer in front of God's statue. A girl with long, straight, jet black hair, reaching past her waist. Her brown eyes, almost hazel, framed with kohl. Skin light enough to resemble snow, with just a hint of pink on the cheeks. Her delicate hands holding a platter'her puja ki thali'with the diya burning bright.
She slowly turned when she noticed her parents walk in. she then raised the thali for her parents. She then bent down to touch their feet, getting their blessing. When she stands up you see her face.
Yashvardan Jaisingh: god bless you my child. (he gently placed a hand on his daughter's head)
Suguna Jaisingh softly kissed her daughter's forehead.
Suguna: good morning Ippshita. God bless you. (suguna then frowned) where's Gauri?
Ippshita gave a dazziling smile at the mention of her elder sister.
Ippi: mom she left early today
Yash frowned: this girl will never learn. She just makes excuses to skip puja. Suguna you completely spoiled her.
Ippi: arre nahi dad gauri di was here earlier, but she left before you came.
Suguna gave a satisfied look at her husband: see'gauri may be a little modern, but she doesn't forget her culture.
Yash sighs: I know I know'but I sometimes get worried for her. You know how gauri is.
A girl wearing jeans and a red tank top is shown walking. Hair just as black has ippshitta's, thick waves cascading down her back to stop at her waist.
Suguna: don't worry'gauri knows how to take care of herself.
She bent down to pick up her car keys she dropped. A guy standing behind her whistled. Not breaking stride, the girl slowly stood up'and turned around giving the guy a back handed slap. The guy held his cheek surprised as the girl snapped her finger in front of his face, daring him to whistle again in her presence.
Ippi: yea dad, gauri di may be a little daring, but she knows what's right and wrong.
She reached the top shelf for a shirt that caught her eye in the store. The gesture causing her top to rise a little'enough to expose the tattoo of a rose with vines and thorns'placed on the right side of her lower back. Her kohl layered eyes then noticed a lady in a wheelchair struggling to reach a bag on the top shelf. She abandoned her task to help that lady.
Yash: ok I get the point. (he then smiled because he knew what they said was true. His elder daughter truly was one of a kind)
Smooth, dusky skin that girls envied'and men craved to touch.
Some man shouted: hey! Gauri! Over here!
She turned at the mention of her name. Her dimple flashing as you see her face'

She turned at the mention of her name. Her dimple flashing when she saw who had called her.
Gauri: shahshank'.
She walked into his open arms and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
Shah: hey'how are you?
Gauri pulled back and looked into her boyfriends eyes. She met shahshank one year back when she was shopping at this very mall. She had bumped into him by accident and they continued to meet by coincidence. Then he was soon hired as the new accountant for her father's company. Soon they started seeing each other romantically until one day she realized that he was the one for her. He turned out to be exactly the kind of guy she imagined for herself. The day she realized she loved him, she told her parents. At first her parents, especially her dad, was shocked. But once they met shahshank, both her parents approved of him and that's when she and shahshank started dating seriously.
Gauri snapped back from memory lane and entwined her fingers with shahshank's.
Gauri: I'm good. common'let's go.
And they walked out of the store to spend the next few hours together.
Later that day around 6:00 p.m ~ Jaisingh mansion
Gauri: mom! Dad! I'm home!
She bends down when she saw her german shepherd run towards her. Gauri let out a laugh as her dog, Tyson, tackled her, causing her to fall back. She affectionately petted tyson's mane and gave him a belly rub when he rolled over.
Ippi: all that noise'had to be you di.
Gauri looked up to see her younger sister by a year walk down, followed by her parents. She smiled, which added a sparkle in her eyes. Ippshitta was not only her sister, but she was her best friend. They never hid anything from each other. They knew each other like the back of their hand and they always helped each other out of any kind of trouble'no matter how small or big the matter was.
Gauri: you know you love me.
Ippshitta let out a giggle.
Yash: care to tell us where you were all day?
Gauri noticed that her dad had an edge to his voice. She walked up to yash and bent down to touch his feet. Yash looked surprised, but he still placed a gentle hand on gauri's head.
Once gauri stood up she noticed the look of confusion in her father's eyes.
Gauri: I didn't get a chance to get your blessing this morning'that's why.
Whatever worry yash had about gauri, washed away. Deep down he knew that gauri was a cultural girl, despite her modern ways.
Suguna: where were you today gauri?
Gauri: I went to see shahshank. He sends his love to all of you. Oh I forgot!
Gauri reached inside her purse and got out a piece of paper with a number written on it. She gave that paper to yash.
Gauri: shahshank gave me this number to give it to you. He said the number belongs to mahen kapoor. He couldn't give you the number at work since it was your day off.
Yash: thanks beta..this number is very important.
Ippshitta frowned when she heard the name 'Kapoor'.
Ippi: dad?...kapoor?...is this the advertising agency?
Yash: that's right beta'.jaisingh enterprise is launching a new product, and we want the kapoors to advertise it. The kapoors are the best in this field'and the family is just as well known as us. They are also considered as one of the richest and most respected families of India.
He then turned to Gauri, as she was the manager of his company. He handed the number back to gauri.
Yash: beta I want you to handle this project. You be the one to approve the kapoor's advertising technique to launch our product.
Gauri smiled.

Gauri and ippshitta then went to gauri's room to kill some time. Gauri went straight to her bed and fell down on it. Looking up at the ceiling, Gauri thought of the name kapoor'.something was familiar about this name'and it had nothing to do with business.

Gauri's eyes then widened in realization, how can she forget. Shiv kapoor'How can she forget the name of ippshitta's current boyfriend. Gauri then turned to ippshitta.
Gauri: what'it's not my fault. You only metioned him to me once, and that also 3 months ago. How am suppose to remember his name. I haven't even met the guy yet'.i don't even know how he looks like.
A room that reflected a bachelor's room'a man of taste'of style. Strong hues of blue where scatter around the room'making it look muscular. Pictures of various things decorated the walls'childhood photos, family, friends, landscapes. A king size bed adorned the center of the gigantic room. A poster-size picture graced the wall above the bed'a breathtaking picture of the owner of that room. Gauri: yea but at work I'm gonna be working with shiv's father most probably. And even if I do meet shiv,its gonna be shiv kapoor the business man, not shiv kapoor your boyfriend.
Ippi: mmmm'you do have a point'..tell you what'I'll bring him to viper club tomorrow and you can officially meet him there.
Gauri gave an excited squeal.
Gauri: finally I get to meet the guy who's stolen my sister's heart. (gauri then said thoughtfully) There must be something special about him.
He stepped into the bathroom for a quick shower. Turning on the shower, the droplets of water sprayed out, wetting his thick black hair. He combed a hand through it as his chocolate brown eyes closed while the water hit his face.
Ippi: ok enough about me'tell me how are things going with you and shahshank?
Gauri smiled at the mention of his name.
Gauri: it's going great. He's just so sweet you know'he's just like the kind of guy I saw myself falling for.
Wrapping a towel around his waist, he stepped into his room. He walked to the closet and pulled out some clothes to put on'.his back still facing us.
Gauri: he's so simple and calm. He can be almost shy at times'but in a cute sort of way.
Fully clothed now, the earring on his ear gleamed as he combed his hair. A hint of his strong jaw line is shown. He reached out to his rolex watch and placed it around his wrist.

His cell phone started ringing. He answered it'talking into it with his husky, and yet deep voice.
Man: I already told you..i can't make it tonight.
There was a pause as the person on the other line said something.
Man: I don't care'I have other plans.
And he rudely hung up the phone.
Gauri: everything is just so perfect you know. Everything is going the way I planned.
She then faced ippshita and smiled.
Gauri continued: let's just hope that it stays that way.
Grabbing his keys and wallet, he walked out his room. Walking down the stairs, he stopped half-way when his name was called out.
Voice: shiv!
Shiv kapoor turned around, revealing his handsome face. Attitude practically vibrating off of him'
