How do you guys find the concept of ex-army officers as partners to the contestants??
It certainly adds spice and makes the show more interesting, especially since some stunts involve teamwork in that sense. And of course its appropriate to get civil servicemen involved in a show that greatly tests physical strength, they can be expected to advise, encourage the girls as well as manage the stunts.
However, in some ways I feel that the 'fulfilling dream' part might seem a lil less convincing. It just seems a little odd that common man is relying on the celebrities performance to fulfill their own dreams in some cases. For example, one of the servicemen wanted to send his parents on a "tirth yatra" -- i personally found it a little odd to hear him say that i want my partner to help fulfill this dream, i mean as a son its not that diff to use other means and help yr parents here is it?? Plus the sum of money is not tt huge, there's no time limit for gathering the money either..
On the oher hand I can understand much more the case of the army man who needs money for his sisters cancer treatment. I guess the sum reqd here is huge and need is sudden and unexpected.
This is just my opinion/observation.. Wat do you guys think??
