~Chapter One: Knocking at thy door!~
She stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyes full of suspicion. She was once again, wearing a sari. Eeeep…. a sari! Well, and that idiot of a Raj had a licence to laugh at her today…. Damnnn!
Her hands on her waist, and eyebrows knotted in concentration, Naina still checked every detail of her attire…. but in the utmost funny manner. She never bothered much about how she looked, she knew, she was good-looking. And looking gorgeous was never important!
"Yahan se….ummmm….beta…badi moti ho rahi hai……", she checked her waist.
"Le!", he entered, as she jerked her hand back in position, "….main to kab se keh raha hoon….moti!", his teasing thus began.
She glared at him.
"Waise pumpkin!", well, he called her that, when she wore saris, "…is baar aur thoda improvement hai!", he said looking at her, "don't worry, meri retirement party tak, theek thaak pehen ne lagogi!"
"Raj! Chup ho jao!"
She began sulking. And he loved it!
Well, Rajveer Shekhawat and Naina Ahluwalia had a history. They had been in true sense, what you may call, 'langotiye yaar'. They had been together, since school….college….
Both complete opposites, but made sure they did a bit of each other's hobby just to be together. Naina was a consulting Psychiatrist in Bombay Hospital. And Rajveer, was a lawyer. Both were doing great in their respective jobs!
Naina was a sorbet, and Raj was firebrand. Naina loved art, and Raj loved to tease her about that. Naina accepted everything on face value, and Raj, well, as his profession demanded, looked for logic in almost everything.
They had married 5years back……
…ummm…lets not talk about it! Just that, both Raj and Naina, had remained unaware of the change in their relation….in their togetherness….in their love!
They were married, but they never realised it! They were the same…as they had been since school.
Everyone in the St. Patricks College said, they were a couple. And a number of times, Raj's girlfriends ditched him saying he paid way too much attention to Naina, for their like. And Naina….well, she never bothered about boyfriends….Raj handled them!
Their families, which consisted of Raj's granny and Naina's father(who was in New York, seldom met her), felt their kids were perfect. Granny always believed, Naina was perfect! And well, she took no time in telling Raj to get married to her.
But whenever, the topic came up….they both made weird faces and said,
"Yea…right!"
* * * * *
Now lets peep into how these two got married. They had never been "in love". They had never been a couple. They had never though of each other that way….
Naina's hugs, and Raj's kisses remained as innocent as they had been 20years back. They emotions guarded the relation, but they were yet to realise how things had changed…and how to accept it!
Their marriage had never been a joke for either. Both Raj and Naina never felt the reason to even think of being unfaithful to each other. They behaved. They lived together. And gave the space that each needed. Cared immensely for each other…..
Well, thode changes the, thode aane the…..
Lets get ahead with the story.

"Nain! Meri ma….ab chal….."
"Aa rahi hoon…."
"Chal matajee…badi sundar lag rahi hai……khush?", he said, pulling her hand.
"W oh main tujhse kyun poochon! Iske liye bande main aesthetic sense chahiye!", she said, hitting him on his head.
"Oye…mere baal!"
"Ahh…Mr.Debonaire ke baal kharab ho gaye….ab wo h neeche khadi….ladkiyaan kaise patayega??"
"Sharam kar….apni shaadi ab badi poorani ho gayee hai…kabhi kabhi to biwi jaise behave kiya kar….", he said, "….for a change!"
She walked away trying hard to manange that sari. And he followed.

"Rosa, get the next one."
"History main important details hai Ma'm", he secretary, rather an intern, the hospital had appointed under her, said excitedly.
"Hmmm…."
"She was in love!"
"Ah right! Love! I understand."
"Ma'm…", Rosa grinned.
It was not that Naina didn't believe in love. She loved Granny. The tried to believe that she loved her father. She had loved her mother. She loved Raj…..
But what they discussed in almost 2-3 cases every month, was something, she had never felt.
"Send the person in….."
"Ma'm…."
"Rosa", she looked up from the file, she knew what these 'love' cases were, "…send the patient in."
Rosa walked out of her cabin, and she tossed the file on her desk!
Ah...another one....!!
