New Layout - Our opinions

hey guys,
I know almost all of us are distresed with the new layout and the inconvenience that its causing us.
Here are a list of problems i am having
1) Can't edit my posts
2) Can't see my Sigies and Avatar😭
3) My buddy list is missing😭😭😭😭😭
3) The numbering on pages is playing games with me
4) Can't edit my profile
5) my smilies are missing
6) The navigation to my fav section is confusing.

I know most of you guys are having same problems if not more than this.
BUT BUT BUT BUT....our site admins are still working on the site guys and the transition from old-->new is not complete yet. So please show some patience and wait a few days before giving your final verdict on the site. Give your precious feedback here:

and those who find it hard to navigate...get to your fav section and add that page to your bookmark or favorites...its the fastest way to get to your page. Here is the discussion page for Kayamath.

I wish they had done this over the weekend, when ppl are not buzzing to get the updates for each section. It would have given them the two days time that they needed to get the new layout completely done...but whatever...i hope we all can show some patience and wait for things to settle and give this new look a chance to register.

JC, I dont even see the link to edit profile. Where is it?

I cant edit posts either which is annoying. And as I had turned off siggies display option, i dont know whether I have retained mine.

@Sumu: hun i think we all can get used to it. Frankly...tho i liked the old one...i did think it needed a change. i am not saying the current layout is better but the old one wasn't the best either. But we are all having difficulties because this is something new and something we are not used to. When i first came to IF i too had a difficult time navigating the old site...but got used to it (only because i favorited all my fav pages😆

@Dips: well the editing feature is still not working but when it does work...you can go to "MY DASHBOARD", which is the orange tab at the top...and you will see on the left hand side of the screen...under your name...a small box that says "UPDATE PROFILE"...thats where you would go to edit your preferences. But the changes we make are not being saved right now...so just give it a few days.

JC May be ur right but quoting to other comments and editing is very difficult.

I think we will get used to the new layout..with time..,just give it a few days..am getting used to it all ready...its just certain new features that are bugging me..like the PRIVATE buddy list being viewable to everyone and I don't want to know who is visiting my profile...lol. I miss the old style search button. I miss the popular topics index.

I see a cool feature in this new layout. And that is getting added to an actor's fan list. I added myself to Shabbo's list. But I didnt see Panchi's and Jay's profile.

ok i am done complaining. Well the old search feature was supposed to be back...i think it'll be back when they are done with this whole thing (i hope soon...i miss that feature the most). I don't miss the popular topics index so much😆😆 it actually used to annoy me sitting on the side like that (ssssssshhhhhhhhhhh!!! but i actually thought it was pretty ugly)...tho i wouldn't mind if it was put somewhere else in a different format.😀

ooo you can check who visits your profile??? i need to explore the new layout some more...but gotta go...i am not even supposed to be here *running*
