I thought the money the couples will win would go towards a charity of their choice..but they never talked about it again after the first episode!!!!

the money generated from the janta voting either sms or telephone will go towards charity and the winning jodi if interested can donate part of their winning money to their charity , it was the same for celebrity famegurukul too if i am not wrong.
