i agree on that...there's no harm in using short-forms..but when at work/school..one should be able to write the correct spellings..
but sometimes if a person chats too much or rather uses too many short forms he/she gets the habit..and might later on forget what the actual word spelt like...that is an extreme case i think...and is bad for one's language.
thankfully for me...my spellings arent effected much...but i prefer prper words than short forms which are confusing at times..😕
