In the case of Imtiyaz Ali's Jab We Met, actors Shaahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor's off screen sob story translated into a bewildering success story. Although it was Kareena who walked away with all the awards this year for her portrayal of 'Geet', Shaahid is now no less than a star. And those who sympathised with Shaahid after his split from Kareena are now wishing they could switch places with him. Shaahid's been linked to a string of beauties from Bollywood and outside, and the effect, is that his paycheque is now a beauty too! If the buzz in industry circles is anything to go by, Shaahid's signing amount has increased tenfold. Before JWM, Shaahid reportedly got a crore for each of his films, but now he's being offered Rs 10 crore. Shahid is a really good actor and his acting in jab we met was really good but not better than srk's chak de india and kareena's acting wasn't that challenging but i still loved her role in jab we met 😊
