In all my years I have never seen such deceit and backbiting. Wow!! Its so upsetting. Can I just say that these were possibly the worst judges ever!! I mean Farah isn't even a singing expert!! Why on earth is she a judge? She gives extra points based on someone being cute or sweet or dancing....pul-leeze we know its all an act, and she doesn't know a clue about singing. And Vishal....you know only one line...sur nahi lage rai te....what on earth do you mean? All these singers sing live....they are all very good...please give some constructive comments.
And with regards to Toshi and his attitude...give me a break Vishal... you claimed that Toshi was ruining the atmosphere of the show..please Debojit never voted for Toshi for the champion side even when Toshi was the best and got full 30 marks from all the judges for O Re Piya. Obviously Debojit wasn't supporting good singing at that point, he was playing a game! Then how isn't that ruining the 'atmosphere of the show'? Debojit was playing a game right from the beginning..and poor Toshi never ever argued with the judges when they gave their comments.
And Debo, Vinit and Rahul always have huge grins on their faces when other contestants get low marks....When the judges were giving Toshi low marks the night that Debojit challenged Toshi (not this week, but last week), Debojit completely had a grin on his face the whole time when Toshi was getting low marks. Um...ruining the atmosphere of the show much Debojit?? Vishal take notice and stop taking sides.
I would just like to end that Toshi did a fab job with Chaiyya Chaiyya last night...he made that song his own and did a great job. He doesn't imitate anyone and is a complete original.
Furthermore, it is shocking to see the public putting down budding talent and aspiring singers of their own country. No one can disagree with the fact that Toshi is an extremely talented young singer, and the fact that people here are writing posts upon posts putting him down? That's really sad.
Please get better judges!! These three judges have always taken sides and never been fair. It truly is a shame.
