How important do you think it is for politicians to be educated ?

I feel there should be an entry critieria for people who contest . They should be atleast graduates and not some metric fail . Please share your thoughts .😊

Not sure I agree

As much as I value education, I am willing to concede those with good/long experience of life could be good candidates.

Considering how many old codgers there are in India for example as politicians, and the prolific corruption, I cant see the lack of education becoming a bar to anyone out there!

What I like about the prospect of an educated person, maybe even more younger people is the flexibilty and diversity they could bring - that is much more interesting and representative of the worls we live in today......

this is not possible in India. bcoz here people can buy degree certificates 4 just a few 1000's of rupees n thereby wil be eligible. its better tht more youngsters take an active plunge in politics.

Politics requires Doctrate in "Common Sense" and if common sense improves with education then it is well and good to have educated politicians...😛

REading that topic title I thot was typo 'b' was missing from ed... lolss kiddin.

For politics in raw sense education iin my opinion counts, ask all the on the spot bahus, whether all the saasu's are educated or no. 😆

Education is must for everyone, yeh kehne ki zaroorat nahi honi chahiye. More so for people who are going to govern this country, a law must be brought out declaring anyone contesting any election should be atleast a graduate.
