Bollywood buzz has it that actress Ayesha Takia has opted out of a movie because she was being cast opposite a newcomer.
Filmmaker Raj Kanwar had a tough time finding Ayesha's co-star in his next movie that has Vivek Oberoi and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles.
Kanwar wanted to cast either Tusshar Kapoor or Zayed Khan opposite Ayesha, but could not get a nod from either of the two actors. Finally, he signed a newcomer for the role. But it was too late by then. Ayesha had already decided to cut herself off from the project.
Kanwar accuses Ayesha of being unprofessional. He says Ayesha's father told him that she did not want to work with Tusshar or Vivek.
But Ayesha says the real reason behind her departure from the project is not Vivek but the newcomer who has been cast opposite her. Ayesha adds that she was promised a role opposite Zayed or Tusshar when she gave her consent to the project. And later, she was told that her co-star would be a rookie.
By the way, Ayesha will be seen with Vivek in the forthcoming Bollywood comedy Home Delivery .
