Down The Memory Lane :- After Ankle / Tendon And Hip Surgeries I Spent About Month And Half Or More In The Hospital With My Right Leg In Cast And Hanging ; Yes Had Back Sores Due To Sleeping All Day And Night On My Back ; Thankfully Nurses Were Excellent And Gave Me Sponge Bath And Kept Me Clean And Nice ;

Days Passed By Reading Books And The Erstwhile Sportsweek, Sport Magazine ; Have All Those Copies In Hardbound Collections ! !

I Was Discharged And Had Not Started Walking And So School Going Was Not Resumed ; Had A Transistor Radio Around - - In Addition To The Philips Radio Kept In The Portico - - And Thus Begun My Journey With Amin Sayanee, Radio Ceylon And Hindi Film Music. Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle And So Many Others ; Yes Binnaca Geetmala, Vivid Bharti Too I Tuned In.

Being Me The Guy I Am; For More Than A Month Or So I Didn’t Start To Walk - Walker And Walking Stick Lying Around, Dad Being Dad - Papa Being Papa - One Fine Day Made Me Dress In My School Uniform And Made Me Sit In The Car At 8 / 8.15 A M In The Morning, Carried Me To The Class Steps { Separated From The Main School Building } And Left Me ; Until 9.15 A M Or So Sat There At Which Time The School Opened ! ! This Continued During Lunch Break Too.

Evenings Well Usual Time For Dad To Return From Office Was About 5.45 P M But Dad Being Busy Man, Would Come Anytime Between 5.45 – 7.00 P M

And So Me Waiting At Class Steps ; Gradually I Started To Walk In The Class, Holding On To The Desks And Walking In The Gap Between The Desks ! !
