He definitely did something to his skin for sure .

I find him more handsome as the Marquis of Wuhan and Yan Zhang.

I don't know whether it's the director's magic, the camera angles, or the makeup artist's work.

But this is the first costume drama that has really interested me because the hero and heroine have amazing screen presence.

It is makeup..he wears tons of makeup..even as he suye he wore more makeup ..

The English dubbing is actually better here

The actress from Speed and Love is acting quite well here.

The drama gives a feel somewhat similar to Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

I wish this was actually based on a novel.

Because while reading the comments, I saw that a lot of people have issues with the ending.

Many are even waiting for Season 2, but some are saying that they might not be able to cast both male leads together because it would be very expensive

The director hates happy endings. Fangs of Fortune and Veil of Shadows are from the same director which share a similar fate!

Hey have you watched rise of ning ? I am liking it so much but they seem to be overdoing sibling thing between leads..

she is going on and on like shen ga shen ga all the time..out of curiosity i watched the last episode and there in last scene ,even after having their baby,she addresses him shen ga while asking him a question about their baby ..i was like i am gonna kill you guysss

Even in ASM she was calling CYY San Ye after marriage I guess Third brother, Third Master .... doesn't matter, they just keep addressing the way they used to do. And Ge isn't only a brotherly term for them, they use it in a romantic meaning as well

In Go Ahead also FL used to call ML Ge till the very end.... Hidden Love also maybe idr if she changed the way she called him

So yea.... and yes I watched The Rise of Ning

Most times they translate such terms with the name. But this happens in almost all dramas
