Today's update:
- Dua is being bullied by her class mates. And adults also join in. And this scene is something I hated! This is not how the writers should be writing dialogues The adults call Mannat characterless. They say she is not married, and is living with another man. They call Dua illegitimate. Horrible horrible dialogues. Shame on the dialogue writer!
- Yashika is recording, the plan is that the kids will call DK, who will come in like a saviour. As Mannat walks back to the car; she notices Dua left her bottle, goes back to give it. Malla tries to stop her, but she runs off.
- Bunty calls DK. He tells DK, people are teasing Dua, Dua is crying. Before Dua can talk to DK, Mannat arrives, takes the phone, & tells DK, she is there. DK can hear the convo, and he is frustrated!
- Mannat tells the people she is married to Vikrant Saluja, and he is missing. She tells them off firmly. And comforts the children. This I was happy that finally, Mannat is in control of her daughter, & is handling her issues herself!!
- Punjab - Roka preps are on. Horrible family Vik has got stuck with. Samragi is having an affair with her devar
. her devrani is terrified of her. Abhimanyu comes all dressed up, he does see the devar coming out of Samragi's room, but doesn't register it. - Roka begins. Manyata is led down the stairs. As Abhimanyu watches her, he gets blurry flashes of Mannat walking down. he is confused, & wonders what is happening. Punjabi dance happens. While dancing, a chunri falls over the couple, once again he gets flashes. he removes the chunri, looking preoccupied.
- Ring ceremony - as Manyata puts the ring on him, he gets many many flashes of doing the same thing before. (And he has genuinely done a ring ceremony too twice with Mannat
) - When he goes to take blessings, he thinks to himself that Manyata has told him their love is very deep, but he doesn't feel anything in his heart. He prays to find a way to his heart.
- In Mezbaani, DK & Mannat are talking. DK pretends to be upset about Dua getting bullied. He tells Mannat they had pretended to be married in Indore, to avoid this, can they not go back to that same scenario.
- Mannat refuses outright. She says Dua was too young, she didn't know about Vikrant. Now she does know about Vikrant, and besides, she has married Vikrant. DK questions her, where is Vikrant?1 What's the point of being married?
- Mannat gets angry.
