I am observing since long how women in family leave their shares even when their own conditions her miserable.

Also the argument karan is mandira ka beta is so dumb

I find gautam with a very big fragile ego.

How did he got so offended that karan is paying the bills.

You're penniless and if you really wanna help you can contribute.

I feel karan is the kid which does everything but later gets blamed for showing his paiso ka dum.

I can kind of relate with this since I saw my parents being in same position as KN where both helped my grandparents,uncles,aunts at some point of my life who were ungrateful.I guess i am presenting this view with a bit of my bias.

Also the logic of appointing a 2 din ka aaya Rio as power of attorney is so dumb.

I liked how she gave Nandini autonomy in organising the sagai.

Aur ye damini toh puri zaher ugali hai...abhi bohot self respect ki yaad ayi hai isko...tab kaha thi jab gautam akela tha 6yrs se...aur ye paiso ke liye gautam ko chod ke apne bete ke saath chali gyi thi...ab ayi hai jab gautam thoda kamane laga hai aur sn mein rahene laga hai...

Aur kal ki episode mein ye prove ho gya ki damini bhi khus nahi hai reo ko power of attorney milne se....fir bhi sirf karan nandini se jealousy ke wajh se parth ke jagh reo ka naam lia poa ke liye...karan & Nandini are truly best beta & bahu...but unfortunately unko hi blame kia jata hai aur unke saath hi injustice hota hai

I know that there’s ambiguity being brought in now with the canon changed regarding Karan getting conceived. But regardless of the fact, he remains a child conceived out of wedlock and Mihir’s son, so he has a legal right to inheritance from the Viranis, that’s my point. People won’t care about the circumstances under which Karan was conceived and born but they’ll never let him live it down that he’s an illegitimate child.

Karan being the one supporting the family hurt Gautam because he’s the eldest and he’s not doing what he’s supposed to do. Even now when he knows the truth which hurt him, and after creating a scene that he’s decided to stay in SN so as to not lose the rights he feels his children are owed he hasn’t made a single statement about how he will contribute to the expenses of the family and pay say 10 or 20 percent of the monthly expenses for running such a huge household with staff and all. That’s where you see the difference between entitlement and responsibility.

If Gautam and Damini are so concerned about their self respect being hurt and not being dependent upon Karan for anything, they could have said that regardless of what happened in the past, from now on they will contribute their portion to the expenses going forward. It would’ve meant putting his money where his mouth is, quite literally. But we didn’t get a single statement to that effect from either Gautam or Damini. This is where the whole thing about their claims being valid fall apart.

Regarding Shobha’s claim to the inheritance, technically the inheritance is now even valid to Pari since she’s a legally adopted child and not a child merely raised by the Viranis. Angad and Hrithik are also in line.

Given the ambiguity regarding Harsh this season we can’t be sure if he exists or not despite Ansh being canon - the shares now are split 7 ways - Gautam, Karan, Shobha, Ansh (Rio), Pari, Angad and Hrithik. And from the looks of it - there’s massive debt to inherit not just assets. Let’s see who is willing to shoulder that as well.
