Well ANUPAMAA has two biological children around and neither of them cares what she's called. In fact, they have called her name as insult themselves. And no one says Prem or Rahi are right. I agree with all your points. Choti Upmaa, who was right in questioning the character of Badi Upmaa during Jhuli Mawali’s birthday party, did not even take much time to flip sides. She claimed she never suspected anything fishy in the relationship between Badi Upmaa and her pet dog Diggy, but conveniently erased the fact that she had already met Diggy earlier. Her memory seems to work only when it suits her argument. Even a chameleon would look consistent in front of such frequent stance changes.

I also feel that neither Badi Upmaa and her pet dog Diggy’s joint venture (Love U Zindagi + Anu Ki Rasoi) nor Phaltu Prem’s “Anuj Cafe” should have come anywhere near getting a catering contract from Sakthi Vohra. This is not a small decision. Any serious client would first check basic, non-negotiable standards like:

a. Proven experience in handling bulk orders
b. Reliable speed and delivery discipline
c. Food safety and hygiene record
d. Menu strength and consistency
e. Fair and competitive pricing
f. Genuine reviews and past performance

Now, if we look at Badi Upmaa’s track record, the concerns are not minor—they are fundamental:

a. Cockroaches were found in her so-called signature dish, “Undhiyo Biryani,” served to food critic Ms. Smith at Spice and Chutney in the US, which eventually contributed to the shutdown of Spice and Chutney. A reputation like that does not fade with convenience.
b. When she left for Dwaraka in search of Choti Upmaa (Rahi), Doshu replaced homemade spices with cheaper substitutes purely for profit, leading to a clear drop in quality and predictable client rejection. The pattern is hard to miss.

With such a background, awarding a major catering contract to this setup looks less like a decision and more like ignoring obvious warning signs.

As for Phaltu Prem’s “Anuj Cafe,” there is still no solid clarity on something as basic as his experience, operational capacity, or even consistent food quality. Everything appears more on presentation than performance.

So overall, neither the joint venture of Badi Upmaa and her pet dog Diggy (Love U Zindagi + Anu Ki Rasoi) nor Phaltu Prem’s “Anuj Cafe” looks remotely fit to handle a contract of this scale.

At this point, the only predictable thing is the drama that will follow at the wedding anniversary function of #JhulMukh (Jhuli Mawali and Dhongi Dukhmukh).
