What I was trying to say , since VCK is in and of itself a much much smaller party compared to the big weights, I felt if they give support to TVK, TVK can exert better control over them than , say, getting support from giants like DMK .

It will be vice versa..vck maybe small party but since it is minority party they have more power here since every leader looks for minority votes..they have a percentage of vote share and their voice is very strong here..
People may dislike stalin but he is extremely cautious in all these and knows where anyone should be kept..he never shares power with any party so that he is not threatened..
If my guess is right vijay will poach 15+ mlas to strengthen his position in assembly later..

I hope he does that. Because things are very much dicey and precarious rn for his party. His majority is so paper thin that any time these small fries ( who revealed once again that in politics what is more important is power and money rather than welfare of the state after the shameless haggling we witnessed yesterday which almost pushed the state into a democratic crisis. ) can threaten his government. So he needs to strengthen his fort as soon as possible, consolidate people loyal to him if he wants to reign for five years and fulfil the promises he made before election to the mass.
