Mannat can say he abandoned and hence she wrote the persons name who she is living with. There is nothing morally wrong here. Without marriage or commitment no one can establish paternity. Even if DNA matches. Otherwise all the adoption and live-in relationship cannot survive.

In the modern age, only commitment and documentation proving commitment matters not dna

Atleast in USA you cannot sue a mother without legal documentation of commitment. Only other way is to prove mother incapable of rising the child . Biology has no value

Yes terrace wedding has no sanctity. Do you remember the beautiful song in Vivah on the terrace. Literally they exchanged vows and showed rights. The song itself is mujhe haq hain. That doesnt mean they are married and have rights. The marriage that took place later in the hospital where the hero registers it and then signs the permission form makes sense. It cannot happen that fast but creative liberty in its beautiful form.

Here he doesnt even remember the terrace wedding and consummation!! that too with his employee and a middle class girl. If she brings this up in court, anything can happen to him. Just because they cant write one decent plot, they are changing the past tracks. How is any episode making sense.
